We have some exciting summer Internships available!
Partnering with some of our key Business Associates, we are offering TWO internships, with BFA and BNZ Taupō (jointly) and one of Aotearoa’s top Law Firms Whāia Legal. To be considered for these opportunities you will need to whakapapa to the Lake Taupō Forest Trust either as an owner or a descendant of an owner. You must also be a recipient of our Tertiary Education Grant.
The purpose of these internships are to connect our rangatahi with professional opportunities and provide pathways for development in a professional environment. If this sounds like you please contact us, we would love to hear from you!
BFA/BNZ Taupō
BFA are Business Advisors and Accountants in the Central North Island. Offering professional services in the areas of business advice, accounting and tax, along with specialist knowledge in property, agribusiness, forestry and transport. Providing pathways for professional development in Accounting and Banking environments, you will spend from 18th November to 20th December working with BNZ Taupō and 20 January to 21 February 2025 working with BFA. Whāia Legal
Whāia Legal vision for the future is informed by the way we see the world – through a uniquely Māori lens. They provide easy to understand, solutions and focused advice on complex issues are offering the opportunity for a current law student in their penultimate or final year to intern over summer. You have the choice to be either located in Whanganui-a-tara or Ōtautahi during this period. Providing pathways in a Law/Legal environment, this internship will run for approximately 8-12 weeks from early December to mid February. We will provide confirmation of these dates as soon as possible.
